This position is for a software developer to perform software coding activities on the Air and Missile Defense Workstation (AMDWS) project. The development activities include, but are not limited to, software evaluation and analysis, existing code maintenance and development of new functionality. Other activities of a software engineer on the AMDWS project include, but are not limited to, peer review of documentation, attendance of peer review meetings, requirements definition, software design, software integration and software support. Candidates must work well in a team environment and be
able to work multiple tasks simultaneously.

Occasional travel will also be required (CONUS and possibly OCONUS). This position requires a Secret security clearance.

AMDWS System Highlights:
• Army funded program
• Army Air Defense Artillery (ADA) Force Operations (FO) system
• Army Air, Space and Missile Defense (ASMD) family of systems gateway to the Army Battlefield Command Systems

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
