This position is located in Colorado Springs, CO for the IRES Contract.

* Responsible for cradle to grave government contractsadministration with experience supporting Missile Defense Agency; communicate effectively and multi-task with both internal and external clients in a fast paced,quick turn-around environment.

* Interact with all project functional such as technicalstaff, project control, finance, pricing, billing department and procurementorganizations.

* Identify unique terms for Non-Disclosure Agreements,Teaming Agreements, OCI situations.

* Organize and communicate negotiation results to seniormanagement and ensure legal adequacy.

* Maintains current knowledge of relevant contractualprocedures and practices.

BA or BS degree in theappropriate discipline from an accredited college or university, plus ten (10)to thirteen (13) years of progressive and relevant experience. 12 years of experience total; 6 years ofcontracting experience and 3 years in management or leadership role *Strongknowledge and understanding of FAR and DFAR requirements.

Additional relevant education maybe substituted for progressive experience.

Strong knowledge with proposalpreparation to include experience writing proposal narratives, ECPs, assistingin pricing strategy.


Must be able towork at a computer for extended periods. Must be able to interact effectivelywith all levels of employees and customers.


Primarily workwill be performed in an office environment; large complex with industrial andhazardous areas and materials.

Computers andGeneral Office Equipment (e.g. phone, computers, copiers, printers)


With exception ofapproved leave and holidays, attendance is mandatory. Overtime may be required.

OtherEssential Functions:

Must take and pass a drug testand background check. Must put forward a professional behavior that enhancesproductivity and promotes teamwork and cooperation. Grooming and dress must beappropriate for the position and must not impose a safety risk/hazard to theemployee or others. Must be well-organized with the ability to coordinate andprioritize multiple tasks simultaneously. Must be able to communicateeffectively, both verbally and in writing. Must be able to interfaceeffectively with individuals at all levels of the organization. Must be willingto travel as needed. Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Governmentclearance applicable to the position held.


Travel requirements areapproximately 15 25%
